Countryman Images represents the outdoor, landscape and travel photography of Andy Johnston. Andy, born and raised with the Yorkshire Dales on his doorstep, has lived in South Wales for over 20 years, this time with the Brecon Beacons close by. 

With a desire to enjoy and explore the landscape, coupled with a passion for travel, Andy's photography became a natural form of expression capturing the mood, the magic and the magnificent along the way.

Andy's images have been used by The Times newspaper, BBC Online, BBC TV, ITV and Brecon Beacons National Park, as well as having three images from Chamonix shortlisted in the 2018 Outdoor Photographer of the Year Awards.

Photography is an enjoyable pastime for Andy who, when not travelling, walking up a mountain or enjoying the coast, works in marketing for a global business to business services organisation.
